 About Mr. E's BookTime

Mr. E (Jerome Ehrlich) is one of the PE teachers at

Belmont Elementary School in

Lincoln, Nebraska.  A few years ago he suggested

to Mr. Schinkel, Belmont's computer

teacher, that the pair should put together a show

that ties reading with different themes.

Thus, Mr. E's BookTime was born.

This is the 5th year of Mr. E's BookTime production.

The episodes are shown at Belmont

and then dispersed to Time Warner Cable for

showing on their educational

station,

channel 21.

Mr. E , Mr. Schinkel and students think of the themes

and then Mr. E uses his creativity

to add to the theme idea.

Mr. Schinkel then uses his technical skills to get the ideas

to video.  All of the posters and artwork you see

on Mr. E's BookTime are hand paintedby Mr. E.

Students play an important role in Mr. E's.

Not only do they share their ideas on themes,

but they also star in areas of the video.

Students are used to find Mr. E at the beginning

of the show and also act in the

"I Caught Your Character" portions of the show.
